Global Partners Team, 10/11

Change Your Perspective with the Global Partners Team. Meeting on Oct. 11 at 11:30 AM in the Library.

We are a standing team of the UUFC Justice Council. We are sustaining long-term relationships with Unitarian and UU communities worldwide. Cultivating authentic personal relationships deepens our understanding of faith. Exchanging ideas and experiences makes human rights and religious freedom real and relevant.

The focus of the Team is to support youth education for our partners and the UUFC. The Team educates and creates awareness about partnerships through activities which may include luncheons, annual dinners, RE sessions, holiday gift programs, monthly outreach during Team worship service, travel exchanges, and communications with partners.

The process of “reframing” your perspective involves self-reflection, embracing humility to learn from others, and a commitment to challenging your own limiting stories and beliefs. We will continue the conversation at our next meeting. Please join us.

Together, we at the UUFC can make the ripples that touch many lives. It is through the Justice Council’s Global Partners Team that we take actions that can have a positive, worldwide effect. Come be a part. This month we will discuss a social event for the UUFC with an eye toward October.

Info on 2026 Pilgrimage to Transylvania, 4/12

Explore Our UU Roots – Castles, Cathedrals, Dungeons, Villages!

You’re invited to join other members of the UUFC who have expressed interest in the September 8-19, 2026 trip to the Transylvania region of Romania.

This is where Unitarianism started as an organized religion. The trip will be led by the Hungarian Unitarian Church and will be guided by local English-speaking Unitarian ministers. Included will be a weekend visit with our partner congregation in Kőrispatak.

We will meet on SUNDAY April 12 in the UUFC Library at 11:30 a.m. to discuss particulars.

Global Partners 3/8

The Global Partners team is meeting this Sunday, March 8 at 1 PM in Room 3.

Our Global Partners Team meeting will de-brief the March 1, 2026 sermon, discuss the September 8, 2026 pilgrimage to Transylvania, consider other engagement with partners, and address our normal team agenda. Come join us as we build and strengthen our many relationships.

The Global Partners team promotes international understanding, social justice, global ethics, and liberal religion through partner church relationships between UUFC and the Unitarian congregation in Körispatak, Transylvania, Romania, the Community Center in Burundi, Africa, and elsewhere.
