Rev. Alex McGee has started her interim ministry with the UUFC as of August 1, 2025. She now has a section on our Staff and Minister page, which includes her office hours and email address. Come greet Rev. Alex this Sunday!
2025-08-03 “Lammas – A Ritual of Ripening and Release”
Join us as we gather at the sacred threshold of Lammas, the festival of first harvest. In this season of fullness and change, we’ll pause to honor the fruits of our lives—what is ripening, what is ready to be shared, and what must be gently released.
Through song, story, ritual, and reflection, we’ll weave together ancestral wisdom and our own lived experience—carrying the grain of our becoming into community and into the unknown future.
Come celebrate the bread we are making with our lives.
Bring a bit of garden abundance to share with others, or nonperishable food for the South Corvallis Food Bank. Let us meet this turning with open hearts and hands.
We’ll also be introduced to our interim minister, Rev. Alex McGee, who started with us on August 1.

Tuna Roast, Avery Park, 9/1
The annual Labor Day Tuna Roast returns! Join us on Monday, September 1 (Labor Day) for a potluck featuring delicious roasted tuna at Avery Park, in the Lions Shelter. All members of the Fellowship community are encouraged to attend.
Outreach Offerings for August
Our Sunday Outreach offerings in August support Seeds for the Sol, a nonprofit, grassroots organization taking action now to remove the financial barriers to residential energy efficiency. Their neighbor-to-neighbor funding model mimics the natural cycles of planting, harvesting, and renewal, helping more households move toward net zero. This funding model addresses climate mitigation and adaptation, energy equity and outreach, and workforce development by making affordable housing more energy efficient.
Watch Party: One Million Rising Trainings, 8/13
During the justice renewal earlier this year and the Democracy Action team meeting in June, many voices were raised in support of more opportunities for training. Created by the organizers of the “No Kings” protests, in which many of us were participants, the “One Million Rising” education campaign offers just such an opportunity.
We will gather to watch and discuss the lessons from this national campaign as well as to celebrate our solidarity with our innumerable brother and sisters in democracy around this nation and around the world. If you cannot attend any of these sessions, you can always sign up to watch any session online. We look forward to seeing you there.
You can read more about One Million Rising at their website: https://www.nokings.org/rise.
Classroom Wing move-in complete, but help still needed!
Many thanks to these Fellowship members who spent a day returning our stored UUFC possessions into the building: John, Bobbi, Gabe, Brian, Steve, Tay, Ginny, Jema, and Wolfgang.
Additional help is still needed with installation and organization. If you’re interested in helping, please contact Wolfgang through Breeze.
