The next time you step into the UUFC sanctuary you will notice new art on the walls. The Willamette Abstract Group, a collective of 18 local artists who specialize in abstract work, have installed their work on our walls this week.
In support of them we will be hosting a reception in the Sanctuary on Friday, March 6th, from 6 PM to 8 PM. There you will have the opportunity to view the art and meet the artists.
You may have wondered what “abstract” art is all about and here is an opportunity to learn from the creators. If this reception is a success we will consider hosting similar events in the future. Please join us in welcoming the artists and showing them how much we appreciate their work on our walls. This exhibit will run until the end of May and most pieces are for sale with a percentage of the sales going to support our Fellowship.
