The June Board of Directors meeting started with a mouthwatering potluck to welcome next year’s board, and we were joined by Skyla King-Christison and Russ Karow. Skyla reported that the children and youth Religious Exploration programs are seeing some definite recovery from pandemic lows. Adult RE plans are in development. There will be interesting and meaningful opportunities for all. Russ presented a revised draft of the Endowment Fund Policy. Money in our endowment fund may not be spent, and the interest will be used for the long-term benefit of the Fellowship. We discussed details of fund management and interest distribution and will see a final draft of the policy in July. We also discussed a draft fundraising policy, aimed at clarifying how we manage our fundraising events. The Board looks forward to more fun(d) discussions in the future.
