You are invited to attend our congregation and consider joining us for membership classes on your journey to find your spiritual home. We currently offer two classes on a regular basis. Contact the Welcome Desk or email greet@uucorvallis.org to inquire about class dates or indicate your interest in attending.
Our First Steps Class is an informal monthly gathering for those interested in learning more about Unitarian-Universalism and our fellowship—how we make connections and build community. It is nonobligatory and informative, for those new to Unitarian-Universalism, as well as those who have spent time in other UU fellowships. First Steps is offered following Sunday service on the first Sunday of each month from 11:30 AM-12:30 PM.
The Path Class is offered quarterly, and it is recommended following attendance in First Steps. This class provides a good understanding of how our Fellowship functions as an institution. A lesson on the history and principles of our liberal faith is shared by our minister. The rewards and responsibilities of membership are also reviewed. This class is generally held on a Saturday morning from 9:00 AM-12:00 PM but other dates/times will be offered throughout the year.
